We are looking for a Trusts and Foundations Coordinator who is a vital part of an ambitious, creative, and high-performing fundraising team, contributing to a collaborative, can-do culture.

Job Description

he successful candidate will play a key part in securing long-term support for Roundhouse’s impactful work with young people. The role will support the Trusts and Statutory team to deliver the highest quality donor cultivation and stewardship, as well as contributing to the team’s high value funding applications and managing a personal portfolio of grants.

This is an exciting time to join the Roundhouse’s Partnerships and Philanthropy team as we enter a new business plan, with ambitious goals for our programming and fundraising in the years ahead. This role is an opportunity for the right candidate to take the next step in their fundraising career and would suit a highly organised individual with excellent written communication skills, who thrives in a creative and fast-paced environment.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in fundraising or similar roles, at an administrator/coordinator level
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Excellent writing skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to craft compelling narratives
  • Experience of using CRM databases, e.g. Tessitura, Raiser’s Edge
  • An understanding of fundraising and a commitment to development in the profession
  • Team player with effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team towards a shared goal
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and key stakeholders across departments
  • Proactive attitude and the adaptability to take on new challenges
  • Commitment to the Roundhouse vision and values

Job Responsibilities

Storytelling and New Partnership Development

  • Lead on prospect research for the Trusts and Statutory team, producing regular, focused research to drive new business
  • Maintain and update an evidence bank, gathering external research and internal case studies to support compelling proposals
  • Support the team with major grant applications (contributing to a growing annual team target of over £500k) by, for example, sourcing information from colleagues and preparing supporting documents
  • Collaborate with programmers in the Roundhouse youth and artistic teams to develop compelling fundraising narratives (e.g. for mid value gifts and a new small trusts mailing)
