Membership and Operations Manager - Workspace for Young Creatives
Job Summary
We are looking for a membership and operations manager to manage an engaged community of members at Roundhouse Works, ensuring there is a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment.Job Description
To have oversight of running the workspace operationally as well as managing the member experience, encouraging collaboration, ensuring retention of members and establishing an alumni network of all members that pass through the space. This role will also work in collaboration to oversee the design, delivery and evaluation of a coherent and dynamic programme for the members.
Job Requirements
Essential:
- Experience managing a coworking space/workspace, engaging and building communities
- Experience managing CRM software or management systemsfor coworking spaces
- Excellent people management and communication skills, with the ability to have difficult conversations
- Experience planning, delivering and facilitating events and workshops
- Knowledge and understanding of the creative industries and the roles within it, specifically creative entrepreneurship and freelancing
- Excellent organisational and project management skills with ability to plan and prioritise workload
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to monitor expenditure, keep budgets and provide budgetary information
Job Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Lead the operational running of the workspace; ensuring health & safety compliance, effective ways of working, overseeing customer service, resolving issues and ensuring clear communication with Roundhouse on-site Facilities and Visitor Operations.
- Oversee member bookings of the Meeting Rooms and Studio; optimising experience and streamlining processes, with ability to set up tech and AV functionalities.
