The author of the monumental My Struggle cycle, Karl Ove Knausgaard, returns to Foyles Charing Cross Road to discuss his latest haunting masterpiece to appear in English, The Third Realm.

Expanding on the spellbinding universe of The Morning Star and The Wolves of Eternity, Knausgaard’s latest work navigates a constellation of characters whose lives have been fundamentally altered by the mysterious force of a new star in the sky above Norway.

Karl Ove Knausgaard‘s My Struggle cycle has been heralded as a masterpiece all over the world. Knausgaard has been awarded the Norwegian Critics Prize for Literature, the Brage Prize and the Jerusalem Prize. His work, which also includes The Morning Star, Out of the World, A Time for Everything and the Seasons Quartet, is published in thirty-five languages.

Thomas Meaney is the editor of Granta. He has reported for the New Yorker and Harper’s magazine, and contributes regularly to the London Review of Books. In 2022, he received the Robert B. Silvers Prize for Journalism.
