About Lucinda Gosling
Lucinda is a writer, curator and public speaker with a particular interest in the social history and culture of the early twentieth century. Her day job at historical specialist Mary Evans Picture Library brings her into daily contact with archive material and images which provide inspiration for many of her books and articles. Several of her books explore aspects of theatre history including ‘Great War Britain: The First World War at Home’, ‘John Hassall – The Life and Art of the Poster King’ and her history of the London Hippodrome, published in 2022.
